Opportunities to participate… Many of the items listed below are reoccurring. Meaning, they rehearse, perform, take a break then start rehearsing again.. Each one has it’s own schedule and so they may be in the middle of their rehearsal session, or may be in the middle of a break. This year the Improvisation Clinic was held at the KMS School in Kerkhoven. Five bands! From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Clinicians were: Bruce Thornton for saxophones and Dale White for trumpets. Jazz Trio. Here are some suggested listening pieces to enhance your improvisation technique. |
